A National Day to Listen Proposed

Recently in the United States of America Believers of all faiths were encouraged to pray on the National Day of Prayer for God to heal our land which was based on the following scripture:

If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves,
and pray,
and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.
(2 Chronicles 7:14)

Who is meant to be the “salt of the earth” by being God’s hands on earth? We, the true followers of God—as JESUS taught:

13 YE are the salt of the earth (Matthew 5)

But if we, the salt, have “lost our savour” how will the earth be salted?

13 …but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it [earth] be salted?
(Matthew 5)

The predicament we are in is the result of an apathetic base of Believers who have wrongly divided the Word of Truth and are following the false traditions of man in our churches all across this land—which false traditions have been exported by Christian missionaries to other nations who are likewise suffering from the fruits of an apathetic base of Believers.

15 …for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made,
ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. (Matthew 23)

Whereas JESUS said for us to be a “light unto the world” and the salt among them, His followers have done the exact opposite. They have built church walls and keep the world out—they want no part of it. Meanwhile, our cities and nations are actually burning to the ground morally (in some cases physically). They (churches) often times duplicate community services by their “do gooder” mindset instead of humbling themselves and helping existing ones and thereby are weakening them, i.e., they are the cause of weak communities.

They siphon money out of communities by their “tax-free” status, and talent by harboring talented people for their limited use within their churches, and this is being multiplied by the hundreds in every COUNTY in America.

Until we truly humble ourselves and “seek His face” by asking “What is THY WILL Father God” and LISTEN to what He says, our lands and communities will never become healed, for our apathetic base IS THE CAUSE.

Imagine instead country club quality community centers where the public wants to go because of the many programs being run by highly capable and talented individuals. That’s right, all churches should immediately become converted to community centers. Then, when the following judgment comes, we all will pass the test:

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me:
I was sick, and ye visited me:
I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25)

This day will come, and those who did their own thing instead of following these teachings of Jesus will pay a hefty price—eternally:

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord,
when saw we THEE an hungred, and fed THEE?
or thirsty, and gave THEE drink?

38 When saw we THEE a stranger, and took THEE in?
or naked, and clothed THEE?

39 Or when saw we THEE sick, or in prison, and came unto THEE?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave ME no meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave ME no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took ME not in:
naked, and ye clothed ME not:
sick, and in prison, and ye visited ME not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Matthew 25)

Those accusations will be leveled at us individually. Did Jesus ever say we were to build churches? No. Then why do we have churches today? Let’s keep our money in our communities and convert existing churches (or build new ones) into Country Club Quality Community Centers and “be the church” not go to them, and avoid the judgment of Hell.
