Just Reward

6 Since they shed the blood of your holy people…It is their JUST REWARD. (Revelation 16 NLT)

Other versions put it like this:

For it is their just due (NKJV)

It is what they deserve! (ESV, emphasis in original)

Our God is a just God:

21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and THERE IS NO GOD ELSE BESIDE ME; a JUST GOD and a Saviour; THERE IS NONE BESIDE ME. (Isaiah 45)

And a merciful God:

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20)

Part of God’s mercy IS bringing JUSTICE upon the wicked, for it is they who despise He and His righteous followers and it is their RIGHT (the righteous) to ask God for mercy, by quickly bringing JUSTICE upon their assailants, be they physical, mental, emotional, or physical.

The righteous will receive mercy as a form of justice to balance the scales, for God has promised, He is not a one-sided God, but is both just and merciful.

If you are righteous, please use your God-given right to request mercy by way of justice upon any perpetrators of sin on your life and it will be granted, for God’s promises will not return void:

7 And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. (Deuteronomy 30)

There is no rest for the wicked and their bodies are full of dead men’s bones until in their delirious state they can feel no more:

27 …indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness (Matthew 23)

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind (Romans 1)

Whose end is a fiery grave—literally:

8 …whose end is to be burned (Hebrews 6)

20 …were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur (Revelation 19 NLT)

From which there is no escape:

43 …go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (Mark 9)
