How many miracles did Our Lord perform in His mortal life? Thousands, for He did not just heal individuals, but “multitudes,” demonstrating He was indeed the Prince of Life:
15 Put to death the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.
16 And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all. (Acts 3:15–16 NASB)
Why would they kill the Prince of Life? Because the Enemy of Life blinded their hearts and minds. How can hearts and minds become blinded like that? Every generation has said, “We would not kill Jesus if He came in our day.” And, “We would not let Hitler do what he did if he came in our day.”
It’s a learned ability TO NOT SEE things for what they are due to a NARROWLY FOCUSED LIFE—it’s all about ME, therefore, I am unable to see what is clearly before ME, unless it’s for ME (the dreaded “Meism”).
If every person was only out for themselves 100% of the time, nothing would get done on earth. So God made our existence to be highly fragile so Meism can’t dominate 100% of the time.
The necessities of life demand cooperation, viz. food, water, warmth, first aid, defense, clothing, medicine, toiletries, pregnancy, births, and so it goes. Within one day of any two of those being ignored could lead to sudden or slow death. This is how Meism is kept in check.
The learned balance between Meism and Youism differs from one person to another. Objectively, one could say, “They are so generous” or “stingy.” We have those words in our vocabulary because we know it’s part of the stewardship of life how fair we are in our percent ratio between Me and Thee.
Overall, because the world has become more “Me” focused than “Thee” focused, a shift in life necessities will be increased to force the Meists to become more Theeists, which will come through the Deep State, and the Devil will laugh while God mourns and Jesus looks on. Angels will rejoice, for the more those whom they steward turn to God, the more they are rewarded (i.e., they love hard times).
It did not need to be this way, but alas, humanity has always degraded into Meism and collapsed. It’s the sad tale of what happens when good people fail to keep evil in check, i.e., Christians playing church rather than being the church in their communities—as Jesus taught:
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5)
Therefore, once more, as Jesus warned:
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (Matthew 5)
Christians will be trodden down and since America is largely Christian, a great deal of the general population will suffer along with them. Do Christian works IN YOUR COMMUNITY not in a building to but relatively few.
11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord. (Jeremiah 7)
Only one church has no paid clergy—the Mormons—no one gets paid. Not the youth pastor, sunday school teacher, piano player, choir director and so it goes. Want to get your church right with God? Start by defunding your staff. If you can’t do that, then you are “good for nothing except to be TRODDEN DOWN.
Very soon, Churches will collapse, whatever part was not of God. Does your church have a building? Did Jesus say to do that? Look at all the money that went for overhead? THOSE WILL COLLAPSE.
Churchianity will be forced to look with NEW EYES, and learn they had it ALL WRONG from the floor to the ceiling and every single thing in between; from how they ran their churches, funded their churches, and largely ignored their communities in the process. BE the church and make community with your community in the name of love, for God is also called LOVE:
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for GOD IS LOVE. (1 John 4:8)
Churches met in homes:
5 the CHURCH that is in their HOUSE (Romans 16:5)
19 the CHURCH that is in their HOUSE (1 Corinthians 16:19)
15 the CHURCH which is in his HOUSE (Colossians 4:15)
2 to the CHURCH in thy HOUSE (Philemon 1:2)
That doesn’t mean house churches can’t gather once a month in public venues to pray and worship, etc. How large is a house church? How large were their houses back then?
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20)
