HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY GET OFF-PLANET
Q. Which religion or religious teacher taught and demonstrated how to get off-planet successfully?
A. Jesus
Q. How much have you invested into your 401k?
Q. How many have thoughtfully prepared for retirement or hired a financial advisor and strategized a plan?
Jesus said,
28 For which of you, desiring to build a tower [retirement plan], does not first sit down and count the cost [financial adviser], whether he has enough to complete it?
29 Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish [runs of money in retirement], all who see it begin to mock him,
30 saying, ‘This man began to build [retirement plan] and was not able to finish [ran out of money].’ (Luke 14)
The same metaphoric principles apply to the soul:
28 For which of you, desiring to build a tower [Afterlife plan], does not first sit down and count the cost [spiritual adviser], whether he has enough to complete it?
29 Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish [does not qualify for Heaven], all who see it begin to mock him,
30 saying, ‘This man began to build [cosmology] and was not able to finish [did not pan out].’ (Luke 14)
Where will your soul go in the Afterlife? Have you done your due diligence to learn about the Afterlife? Have you given it at least the same amount of time and attention as you did your retirement plan? Did you consult experts?
Q. What’s your Cosmology? How much did you research, and how many people did you consult before arriving at your belief system of what the purpose of life is? Was it at least as much as the time, money, and effort to plan your retirement?
The following tips can help you fashion a new Cosmology since the life-shattering changes.
Pre-Adamites
“Pre-Adam” means what it says. Was Adam the first man, as the Bible implies? How do we reconcile archaeological ruins of civilizations older than the Bible or visitors from other worlds?
Did your world shatter? Did you toss out the Bible, and are you now referring to it as a “work of fiction”? These are the facts: “Adam” in its first use is referring to humanity, and in its later use, the individual. There could be thousands of years between the two.
אָדַם ʼâdam, aw-dam’; a human being, an individual or the species, mankind, etc. (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible)
The Bible uses the word אָדָם (‘adam) in all of its senses: collectively (“mankind“, Gen.1:27), individually (a “man”, Gen. 2:7), gender nonspecific (“man and woman”, Gen.5:1–2), and male (Gen.2:23–24). In Genesis 1:27 “adam” is used in the collective sense, and the interplay between the individual “Adam” and the collective “humankind” is a main literary component to the events that occur in the Garden of Eden (Wikipedia/Adam).
Metaphors
Does God use metaphors?
a figure of speech in which a term or phrase is applied to something to which it is not literally applicable (Dictionary)
And he spake many things unto them in parables…without a parable spake he not unto them…I will open my mouth in parables (Matthew 3:3,34-35)
αραβολή parabolḗ, par-ab-ol-ay’; from G3846; a similitude (“parable”), i.e. (symbolic) fictitious narrative (of common life conveying a moral), apothegm or adage:—comparison, figure, parable, proverb. (Strong’s)
Creation Account Metaphorical
Moses explained the Creation in the form of a story so the most simple-minded of Israelites (and others) could understand.
Did God Literally Create
Q. How many varities of roses are there?
A. 35,000
Q. Who made those?
A. God and man.
Q. How many dog breeds are there?
A. 360
Q. Who made those?
A. God and man.
Q. Who made all the living creatures on this planet?
A. God, man, angels, specialists?
Q. Would it diminish God’s sovereignty in any way if He had help?
Notice the distinguishment between the two creation actions:
3 God said, Let there be light
7 God made the firmament
Each “God said” can be viewed as “assignments” given to others to perform. Some endeavors may have taken thousands or millions of years to accomplish, and those carrying them out may have been thousands or millions of years old as we count time on Earth.
God Does Delegate
Yes. This account in Daniel speaks volumes that He did and does.
This matter [is] by the DECREE of the WATCHERS, and the DEMAND by the word of the HOLY ONES: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. (Daniel 4:17)
Q. Did some of the those Watchers defect?
A. Yes
Q. Have any Holy Ones ever defected?
A. We don’t know for certain.
Q. Why does God have “24 Elders” consulting Him?
And round about the throne [were] four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold (Revelation 4:4)
More Gods Than One
.
Q. Why does the creation account in the book of Genesis refer to God in the plural?
.
Go to, let US go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. (Genesis 11:7)
Q. How much power or ability did those gods have to be able to “confound” [i.e., develop, change, teach] languages? Who determined which language was assigned to which culture group, tribe or race?
Q. Where did Cain’s wife come from?
And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived (Genesis 4:17)
Q. Who were those people throughout the Earth Cain was worried about after his punishment?
11 And now [art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. 13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment [is] greater than I can bear. 14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me. 15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any [people who did not know him – where did they come from?] finding him should kill him.(Genesis 4:11–15)
Q. Would it diminish God’s sovereignty in any way if He had helpers referred to as “little” gods?
Q. Is it important to distinguish between the two: “God” and “gods”?
Do You Have an Evacuation Plan?
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10)
